The Orange CT Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is an active organization with over 40 members. Started in June of 2006, we educate people about disaster preparedness and train them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, and disaster medical operations.

As a CERT organization, our main focus is on providing shelter during emergencies, but we also play an active role at many community events in the town of Orange. Our members have diverse backgrounds and skills, and many come from other related areas of public service, such as the fire department and the office of emergency management.

In Orange CERT you will learn from some of the very best at what they do.
